Enya will perform two songs on the renowned Japanese television programme - 'Kohaku'. Enya's appearance will be broadcast via satellite from Ireland to Japan and will be seen by some 45 million viewers. Since it was first shown 50 years ago, 'Kohaku' has traditionally featured only Japanese artists. This is the first time in the programme's history that a foreign artist has been invited to perform on the show. 'I am very honoured that I have been invited to appear on 'Kohaku'' said Enya 'and I'm very grateful to the NHK team for this great opportunity'.

If some of you has the luck to watch the programme please comment it here for those of us who are a bit less lucky. Thank you smile.gif
