It appears to me that this might be the case. Perhaps they will put up a link to this weekend's interview afterwards...

Hi Every1
I have just watched the clip of Enya on the Early Show. Enya looked loverly in that red dress. When she sang Amarantine, she was wondwerful, however I cannot say the same for the backing singers, to me they were terrible, I apologiese if anybody thinks differantlty but for me they definetly nowhere near good as the backing singers she had when she sang Amarantine on Top Of The Pops.
As I said, I apologies if anybody thinks diferantly to me.

None of the background singers seemed familiar, but then again, my eyes are usually looking at someone else. As for the voices of the backgroundsingers: I only noticed in the first chorus that the voices were a bit ehm... out of line. I am very pleased with the overall performance though

As I already said in another post this is probably one of Enya's best live performances. I still think a chorus of "non Enya" voices doesn't fit with the magnificence of multivocals, I have my own idea on how to bring all this on a stage and make it sound and feel like the Enya we love but, I'm sorry, I learned not to tell this kind of things on a forum

I agree the voices were obviously not as good as the CD, but then all of those voices are Enya's, and the only way to reproduce that on stage or tv live is to have a soundtrack recording of everything but Enya singing. It would be very easy for Nick to make such a tape for an Enya concert. I think the singers on the CBS were just kind of thrown together at the last minute. Like the Regis and Kelly show they probably only had a few days rehearsal with Enya and that was it.
I'm still trying to find a copy of the video if anyone has it please. MY capture software won't capture it for some reason.
